Training
and
education is an area in which AWAM
specialises.
Our training expertise include:
We
offer
customised programmes and have worked
with
hospitals, the police, government agencies, as well as schools, NGOs,
and
corporate companies. Call or email

Lobbying and Advocacy
AWAM
lobbies and
advocates for
improved
legislation
and policies on gender-related issues, including rape, domestic
violence and sexual
harassment. We collaborate with other women’s NGOs
– for example, through the
Joint-Action Group for Gender Equality (JAG) – to give
greater impetus to our
lobbying and advocacy efforts.
Historically,
AWAM’s
advocacy work
has focused
