Our members and volunteers form an important part of AWAM's backbone. To date, we have over 100 volunteers, a large proportion of whom support our work as members. All come from many different walks of life, sharing the same vision as AWAM.

Their areas of contributing are many - ranging from administrative assistance and lobbying to effecting programmes and providing services, as well as raising funds for the organisation's sustainability.

AWAM gives regular training to our members on issues related to violence against women, as well as in para-counselling to build their capacity and support for the work that we do.
